Everything you need to know about offering pickup-point delivery with LockerWise.
What is LockerWise?
LockerWise lets Greek merchants offer pickup-point and locker delivery at checkout. Customers choose a nearby pickup point, and you create shipping vouchers and track shipments straight from your Shopify admin.
Which carriers does it support?
Three carriers, each enabled and configured independently:
- Skroutz Last Mile (SLM) — locker network, with voucher creation
- ACS Courier — pickup points and lockers, with voucher creation
- Box Now — parcel lockers (display-only; shipments are managed in your Box Now account)
Which countries are supported?
Greece and Cyprus. Each carrier can be enabled per country, with its own price and free-shipping threshold. Greece is on by default; Cyprus is opt-in per carrier from the carrier's settings page.
Do I need my own carrier accounts?
Yes. You provide your own API credentials for each carrier you want to use (issued by SLM, ACS, or Box Now). LockerWise uses them to fetch pickup points and create vouchers on your behalf — your credentials stay in your own Shopify account.
How do pickup points appear at checkout?
LockerWise registers as a carrier service in your store. When a customer reaches checkout with a supported destination, the app returns the closest pickup points as shipping options, priced by the rate you set for that country.
What Shopify plan do I need to show rates at checkout?
LockerWise shows pickup-point options at checkout using Shopify's carrier-calculated shipping (also called third-party calculated shipping rates). Your store needs this capability enabled, which depends on your Shopify plan:
- Advanced and Plus — carrier-calculated shipping is included by default. Nothing extra to do.
- Grow (formerly the Shopify plan) — available, but you must either pay your subscription annually, or add carrier-calculated shipping for an extra monthly fee ($20/month).
- Basic — carrier-calculated shipping isn't available on this plan, so real-time pickup-point rates can't be shown at checkout.

I don't see pickup-point rates at checkout. What's wrong?
The most common cause is shipping-zone wiring. Shopify needs LockerWise added as a rate to the relevant shipping zone:
- Open Settings → Shipping and delivery in your Shopify admin
- Pick the zone that includes Greece (or Cyprus)
- Click Manage rates → Add rate → Use carrier or app to calculate rates
- Select “LockerWise Pickup Points” and save
Also confirm the carrier is enabled in LockerWise and that your Shopify plan supports carrier-calculated shipping (see the plan question above). The app's dashboard shows a banner when the zone wiring is missing.
How do I create a shipment / voucher?
Open the order in LockerWise and create the shipment — the voucher is generated through the carrier's API and a tracking number is written back to the Shopify order. For ACS you can also create vouchers directly from Shopify's native order page, individually or in bulk.
How does pricing work?
You set a flat shipping price per carrier per country, plus an optional free-shipping threshold. The price you set is what the customer pays at checkout — LockerWise doesn't add any markup.
What does it cost?
LockerWise is $5/month and includes 100 shipments per month; additional shipments are $0.05 each. See the in-app Billing page for your current usage.
What customer data does LockerWise store?
No customer personal data is stored in our database — no names, addresses, phone numbers, or emails. Recipient details are read from the Shopify order only at shipment time and sent directly to the carrier to generate the voucher. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
